WAIVER, RELEASE, AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

By registering for Player One: a recital, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following:

 

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

I understand that pole, aerial, and dance performances involve physical exertion and inherent risks of injury. By participating, I voluntarily assume all risks and waive any claims against The Stvdio, its owners, instructors, staff, affiliates, and venue partners for any injury, accident, illness, or property damage that may occur before, during, or after the event.

 

2. HEALTH & SAFETY

  • I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in this event. If I have any medical conditions that may affect my ability to perform safely, I have consulted a physician before registering.

  • A medical team and ambulance will be on standby during the show for emergencies, but The Stvdio is not responsible for providing medical treatment beyond first aid.

  • The Stvdio reserves the right to prohibit my participation if my health or behavior poses a risk to myself or others.

 

3. CLASS LIMITS & PARTICIPATION RULES

  • I may register for a maximum of 6 classes, but I must limit myself to 3 per show segment (e.g., 3 performances in the first half of the show, 3 in the second half).

  • I must ensure at least 1 performance between my own appearances to allow for costume changes and rest.

  • I am responsible for choosing my classes wisely and balancing my commitments accordingly.

 

4. ATTENDANCE & FORFEITURE POLICY

  • I may have a maximum of two absences per class.

  • If I exceed this limit, I forfeit my participation in that class, and all payments made will be non-refundable.

  • If my participation is forfeited, I will not be allowed to join the photoshoot, even if I have paid the recital fee.

 

5. PAYMENT TERMS & REFUND POLICY

  • A ₱4,000 reservation fee per class is required upon registration. This amount is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total workshop fee.

  • The remaining workshop balance must be paid on or before May 20  to continue participation.

  • The ₱7,000 recital fee must be settled on or before the Photoshoot Day to confirm my performance slot.

  • All payments are final and non-refundable. If I withdraw, fail to participate, or am removed due to non-compliance, I forfeit any payments made.

 

6. MEDIA CONSENT & RELEASE

  • I grant The Stvdio and its official media team permission to photograph, film, and record my participation in Player One: a recital.

  • I authorize The Stvdio to use my name, likeness, and performance footage for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without compensation.

  • I understand that professional photographers and videographers will document the event, and I waive any rights to review or approve the final content.

 

7. EVENT SCHEDULE & CHANGES

  • Rehearsals begin: Wave 1 - May 30, Wave 2 - June 28

  • Photoshoot Dates: June 27Fia

  • Final Rehearsal: July 26 

  • Final Showdown: August 2

  • Recital class schedules may be subject to change, and updates will be communicated accordingly.

 

8. FORCE MAJEURE & EVENT CHANGES

  • The Stvdio reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or venue-related issues.

  • If the event is postponed, my registration will be transferred to the new date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations beyond The Stvdio’s control.

  • By checking the box in the registration form or page and submitting my payment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the Waiver, Release, and Terms & Conditions of Player One: a recital. I acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I assume all associated risks.
